After a 15-year career in alpine skiing, Maria Kirkova bid farewell to white tracks. The benefice of our best lady skier was marked with a night parallel slalom at “Vitoshko Lale” (Vitosha Tulip) ski slope – the place where 33-year old athlete from Sofia made her first races on her way to four Olympic games, seven World championships and 102 first places in the calendar of the Bulgarian Ski Federation.
