Bulgaria once again raises question of visa-free travel to US for Bulgarian nationals

Within the frameworks of their visit to USA, the Bulgarian delegation led by Interior Minister Mladen Marinov held a working meeting with Claire Grady, acting Deputy Secretary for Homeland Security of the US.

Agreement was reached for closer cooperation in combatting cyber-crime, including for training for Bulgarian law enforcement bodies.  

The Bulgarian side once again raised the question of including Bulgaria in the US Visa Waiver Programme. The American side was invited to visit Bulgaria and ascertain how the criteria for visa-free travel are being met.
