It is necessary to change the obsolete decrees regulating the residence and training in this country for young people from the Bulgarian communities abroad, Vice President Iliyana Yotova said. At a meeting at the University of Plovdiv with students from the Western Outlands, Moldova and Ukraine, Yotova assured them that Bulgaria did not regard them as "some other Bulgarians". There are about 2000 students of Bulgarian origin, who are being trained in the higher education institutions in Bulgaria under the two decrees - 103rd and 228th, which are to be updated. Students have called for limiting bureaucracy related to residence in the country.
