Italy supports Bulgaria’s Schengen membership

After a meeting with the President of the Italian Senate Maria Casellati, Tsveta Karayancheva, President of the Bulgarian National Assembly announced that Italy supports Bulgaria’s Schengen membership.

Increasing Italy’s investments in Bulgaria was also a talking point. Tsveta Karayancheva paid a 3-day visit to Italy on the occasion of the May 24 celebrations.
