A special ceremony held in Hristo Botev Square in Vratsa saw off the groups of hikers who are to join the 73rd National Tourist March “In the steps of Botev’s detachment”. This year as many as 1400 people from different parts of the country will cover the 120 kilometers from Kozloduy on the Danube to Okolchitsa Peak in the Balkan Range where the revolutionary and poet Hristo Botev lost his life in battle.
