The event is held under the auspices of Metropolitan Yoaniki of Sliven and the Mayor of Pomorie Municipality, Ivan Alexiev. For five days, from June 7th to June 11th, in the "Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary" church, as well as on the open stage in the town guests and residents of the city have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful solo and choral performances of the participants in the festival. Traditionally, the choirs are also guests to the Sunday liturgy in several of the churches in the region: Pomorie's Church "Transfiguration of God" and the St. George Monastery, the Church of the Holy Assumption of Mary in Nessebar and the churches of "St. Virgin Mary" and "Sts. Cyril and Methodius" in Burgas. Especially for the Orthodox event the miraculous icon of the Holy Mother of God "Dostoino Est", which is a gift to the Bulgarian Orthodox Church from Mount Athos, Greece will be in the town.
