The President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski received a delegation of the Bulgarian Constitutional Court who paid a visit to Skopje.

The delegation acquainted President Pendarovski with the work and the competences of the Bulgarian constitutional magistrates. The head of state of North Macedonia welcomed the relations of partnership between the two professional bodies which are developing in the spirit of the agreement of friendship, good neighbourhood and cooperation between Sofia and Skopje. The chairman of the Bulgarian Constitutional Court Boris Velchev and his North Macedonia counterpart Nikola Ivanovski laid emphasis on the importance of upholding constitutionality and the rule of law as one of the EU’s fundamental principles.
