Compared to the previous year, the number of papers decreased by 6, while circulation increased by 20 million. Daily newspapers are 27 or 15.5% of the newspapers with circulation above 131 million. There are 530 magazines on print, which is an increase of 3.9% compared to 2017. Magazines in 96 foreign languages were published as 89 out of them were in English. In 2018, a total of 8,650 books with a circulation of more than 9 million were published. Nearly 3000 out of them were fiction. Book titles decreased by 226, but the average circulation increased by 71.7%.
