Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov opened the second edition of the Plovdiv Economic Forum with the words that the good economic development in Bulgaria in the past ten years is due to good tax environment and the fact that the business shifted to machine-building, electronics and metallurgy. The exports of electronics increased four times and export of items from the machine-building sector increased two times. In ten years incomes have doubled. We need industry with high added value in order to keep this growth. The construction of ports, motorways, railway lines, gas pipelines, predictable tax policy, reduction of the share of the grey sector, education and qualification of the workforce are among our priorities, Premier Borissov said.
