Two-thirds of Bulgaria’s export to EU is to six countries

In the first four months of the year Bulgaria’s export of commodities to countries of the EU has gone up by 7.3 percent compared to the same period of 2018, and amounts to 6.5 billion euro.

Bulgaria’s principal trading partners are Germany, Romania, Italy, Greece, France and Belgium, which account for 67.3 percent of the country's export to the EU, National Statistical Institute data show. In Bulgaria’s export to third countries leading destinations are Turkey, China, Serbia, USA, Russia and North Macedonia, which account for 50.9 percent of export to third countries.
