Annual conference of Bulgarian diplomats abroad

Addressing the annual conference of Bulgarian ambassadors, taking place in Sofia, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov stated that for the most part, their work is successful and they can feel proud of it.

Boyko Borissov especially lauded the work of the team in Brussels which upholds Bulgaria’s positions at the EU, as well the work of the diplomatic mission in London which upholds the interests of the Bulgarian citizens in connection with Brexit.

With respect to the agreement of good neighbourhood with North Macedonia, the Bulgarian Prime Minister stated that it has yielded good results and called for firmness, but also tolerance during work on the extremely fraught process of altering the interpretation of history in Skopje.
