Bulgarian swimmer Tsanko Tsankov swam Burgas Bay in 14 hours

Thirty one-year-old Bulgarian swimmer Tsanko Tsankov swam successfully the distance between Cape Emine and Cape Maslen in the Black Sea. He started at 6.20 am on July 17 and stopped the clock at 14.24.34 hours. Tsanko swam 44.702 kilometers. The distance is longer than the route of the popular marathon swim across the English Channel between France and Great Britain. Tsanko Tsankov swam the longest distance in the Black Sea aquatory. He is a multiple national champion and places 3rd in the all-time Bulgarian ranking of 100 meters relay.
