The California State Athletic Commission has voted to lift the suspension of Kubrat Pulev's boxing license in California.
This took place after Kubrat Pulev answered several questions put to him by the commission members regarding the incident when the Bulgarian boxer forcibly kissed a female reporter. Jennifer Ravalo and her lawyer Gloria Allred read out long statements in an attempt to convince the commission to impose further sanctions on Pulev and his promoter Bob Arum. Ultimately the commission unanimously voted in favour of Kubrat Pulev with the stipulation that his license will be “permanently revoked if he commits an act similar to his actions committed against sports reporter Jenny Ravalo.”
