The Bulgarian counterintelligence is following all attempts of foreign factors, whether they are states or other entities, which are trying to interfere in this country’s internal policy. This is what Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense Krasimir Karakachanov said on occasion of the so-called espionage scandal when the Chairman of the Russophiles Movement in Bulgaria Nikolay Malinov was charged with espionage in favor of Russia.
