Jock Palfreeman to be released from prison

Today, Australian Jock Palfreeman will be released from the centre for migrants in Bulgaria’s Busmantsi , said the director of the Migration Directorate at the Ministry of Interior Nikolay Nikolov. Palfreeman was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the murder of Bulgarian student Andrei Monov in Sofia in December 2007. Palfreeman spent 12 years in Bulgarian prison, after which he was released.
