On 8th of February Bulgaria marks a Day of National Mourning for the victims in the disastrous floods that swept Bulgaria’s southern region of Haskovo. There are 8 fatalities in the village of Biser that went underwater after a dam wall cracked under pressure from high waters. Severe winter conditions in Bulgaria continue.

In today’s program, we begin with a feature on how Bulgarian and German services have achieved a breakthrough in combating trafficking in women.
