Song of the Day – “A Dance Invitation”

In this week’s edition of Song of the Day on Radio Bulgaria we will listen to those old songs that do not bring nostalgia and sadness, but come for a new life. Created half a century ago they sound again and attract their “young” audience. It is also important that three of them were composed by the first master of the Bulgarian popular song – Yosif Tsankov. “A Dance Invitation” was recorded back in 1965 with the voice of Emil Dimitrov and the rhymes of Vladimir Bashev. The song, arranged by the musicians from the Big Mamma Scandal and with their participation and the one of singer Nadya Boteva, sounds in the documentary, created on the occasion of the 90th anniversary from the birth of the composer. They all will invite us to a dance within the next few minutes. Listen to the song now:
