Song of the day – People and Streets

There are a number of songs from Bulgarian movies, which have gained considerable popularity. One of these songs is entitled “Hora i ulici” (“People and Streets”) and it is from the movie “Momcheto si otiva” (“The Boy Turns Man”). “We take a long road and the world is ours for sure. Youth is our major crime”, go the lyrics of the song. Author of the music is Boris Karadimchev, while Iliya Atanasov is the author of the lyrics. Renowned jazz singer Hilda Kazasyan presented a new variant of the song in her new album, dedicated to favorite movie songs. The new arrangement of the song was done by famous Bulgarian percussionist Hristo Yotsov.
