D2 is a band of the youngest generation of Bulgarian rock musicians. Set up in 1999 by guitarist Dimitar Karnev and lead vocalist Dicho Hristov, the band quickly gained the affections of the teenage audience. In 2006, frontman Dicho left the band to pursue a career of solo performer. The musicians of D2 organized a casting for a new frontman and thus found their present lead vocalist, Deyan Kamenov. The first album recorded with his vocals was entitled “6”.
We offer you next a piece of that album - the song Here and Now that quickly reached top places in the Bulgarian musical charts. It has a soft rock sound and powerful lyrics: “If you can behold no shores and feel alone in the dark, don’t get lost, just look around for me. If you break the walls with your head, this is your day, look at me…”
