Bulgarian Revenue Agency with good assessment of its work at meeting of EU tax administrations

The Bulgarian Revenue Agency is very active in improving collection of taxes in times of crisis, according to an assessment made at the meeting of heads of EU tax administrations, which takes place in Tallinn, Estonia. Executive Director of the Revenue Agency, Krassimir Stefanov has presented the methods of the Bulgarian Agency aiming at reducing the share of gray economy. Stefanov has also presented the specialized service for fighting tax frauds, which together with the Ministry of Interior and the prosecution has prevented frauds for over 500 million euro during the past year.
