Bulgaria and Switzerland sign agreement for 106.5 million levs under programme for cooperation

Bulgarian Minister for EU funds, Tomislav Donchev, and President of the Swiss Confederation, Doris Leuthard, have signed in Bern a framework agreement under a Bulgarian-Swiss programme for cooperation. The agreement defines the application of a Swiss assistance that amounts to 76 million Swiss francs or nearly 107 million levs. The financial assistance is a symbol of solidarity towards Bulgaria as a new EU Member State, Ms. Leuthard said. “We highly appreciate the financial and expert help from Switzerland and we hope our cooperation will intensify,” Tomislav Donchev pointed out.
