Responsibility in public finances is of major importance, Bulgarian Economy Minister says

Macroeconomic stability and responsibility in the public finance sector are of major importance for the good business climate in Bulgaria, Minister of Economy, Energy, and Tourism Traicho Traikov said. Minister Traikov took part in the forum entitled “The Role of Rightist Governments in Overcoming the Effects of the Global Financial and Economic Crisis." We are all convinced that investments are needed, not spending, the minister said. Mr. Traikov announced that payments under the Competitiveness Operational Programme have increased 200 times, as in the summer of 2009 they were just 0.1%, while now they reach 19%.
