Potential European strategic investors in Belene NPP expected to reply in 2-3 weeks

Potential strategic investors from Europe are expected to send their replies in connection with the negotiations for their participation in the construction of the second Bulgarian nuclear power plant near Belene, on the Danube. This is what Bulgaria’s PM Boyko Borissov said in front of journalists after a visit to the plant’s construction site. PM Borissov stated that the project for the plant would not be continued without a European strategic investor who would guarantee that the constructed facility worth hundreds of millions would not destroyed.
