EU Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva presumes Bulgaria might take up crisis response leadership

EU Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva in charge of International Cooperation, Humanitarian Aid & Crisis Response presumed that Bulgaria might take up a leading role in EU’s crisis response. In an interview for PRO.BG TV station Georgieva said that one of the prerequisites for that was the fact that the country had structures of the Red Cross, Civil Protection and the Army specialized in disaster response.
