Full ban on smoking indoors in public places as of today

Nearly 650 health inspectors will be monitoring the observance of the ban for tobacco smoking indoors in public places. As of today the related changes in the Law on Health enter into force prohibiting smoking indoors and some outdoor premises. The fee for a physical person violating the rule is BGN 300-500. The aim of the measure is to reduce the number of smoking persons as well as cut down the number of passive smokers.
