Bulgarian business in serious need of experts

The Bulgarian Industrial Association hosted a round table dedicated to attracting high-skilled foreign workers. The Blue European Labour Card is an approved EU-wide work
permit allowing high-skilled non-EU citizens to work in EU Member States. In 2011 the Bulgarian Labour Agency issued 569 such permits to citizens from Turkey, Russia, and Uzbekistan. Since the beginning of the year 11 blue cards were issued to engineers from India, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia and Turkey. According to BIA chairman Kamen Kolev, Bulgarian business was in a serious need of experts.
