MPs report on growth in negotiating and absorption of EU funds 

The Commission on European Issues and EU Funds Control at the Bulgarian Parliament has adopted the annual report on EU funds absorption in Bulgaria in 2011. The report indicates that there has been a twofold increase in the negotiation and absorption of EU funds. The chairperson of the commission, Mrs. Monika Panayotova, stressed that there was no risk of losing funds because all state institutions have undertaken the necessary measures and the number of errors is extremely low. The report also notes the high rate of performance of the annual working programs which reaches 90 per cent.
