Many people are to profit from the fine weather, unusually warm and sunny for September, and will travel in the coming long weekend. A large number of them are expected to head for the seaside! An exposition dedicated to Prince Alexander I Battenberg is on display at the Art Gallery of the town of Lovech. In it the National History Museum shows a tray offered to Battenberg by the citizens of town on June 25 1879. Seventeen posters tell about the Monarchic institution of the Principality of Bulgaria (1879-1946); about the head of state of the Principality of Bulgaria – Alexander Joseph von Battenberg (1879-1886). The exposition also features documents related to Prince Alexander I Battenberg, kept at the State Archive section in Lovech. The Regional History Museum also shows valuable objects – medals and orders with the image of Prince Battenberg and the Constitution of the Principality of Bulgaria from 1879.  Photo: BTA

On the occasion of the official marking of the 45th anniversary since the launching for exploitation of the First Atomic Plant in Bulgaria, a photo exposition is arranged in the square before the Club of Power Engineering in Kozloduy. The collection features archive photos from the history of the Kozloduy NPP. The exposition is entitles “Building the Kozloduy NPP – the story through the lens”.
