Croatians support EU accession

Nearly 58 per cent of Croatians plan to vote Yes on their country’s accession to EU during this month’s country-wide referendum. Only 23 per cent plan to vote No. These results have emerged from a nation-wide poll. Over 60 per cent of the polled have confirmed their participation in the referendum. On 9th December, Croatia signed its accession treaty with EU. It will become the 28th EU member, after the treaty is approved by the Croatian population and ratified by all 27 EU member states.
