The EU funds remain the most important growth generator to Bulgaria for the moment and we should do whatever’s possible to attract more investments, said EU Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva at the marking of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day. In her words the private sector should be “lifted up”, especially the small and medium-sized businesses. She went on to say that the raising of salaries was a reachable goal for Bulgaria, as the country has well-trained and educated experts, along with its improving infrastructure for economic growth.
