“Egyptian Beach” is a spa procedure in which, after exposing their bodies to the sun, people cover their skin with curative mud and again remain in the sun, until the mud dries and starts to crack. The award La Pomme d'Or (or the Golden Apple), which is the equivalent of an Oscar in the tourist industry, is to be given, today to the Mayor of the city of Plovdiv – Mr. Ivan Totev. Archeological studies of the Zaldapa Fortress unearthed an early Christian crypt containing alleged relics of martyrs in the largest settlement of antiquity in the region of Dobrudzha (northeastern Bulgaria) – Zaldapa.
