“Bones” is the name of the Bulgarian song, taking part in the 63rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The song will be presented on May 8, during the first semi-final of the forum, taking place in the Portuguese capital city of Lisbon. Performers are Zhana Bergendorf, Vladimir Mihaylov, Georgi Simeonov-JJ, Johnny Manuel and Trey Campbell, united in the Equinox group. The project was created specifically for the song contest as the idea came from Borislav Milanov - producer and composer. He is the author of Bones, in collaboration with Trey Campbell, Joakim Perschon and Dag Lundberg. The song brings universal messages about the true values of life and unconditional love, beyond the limits of the material world.

For the performance at Eurovision 2018, the Bulgarian National Television has partnered with Symphonix International. The company has been associated with the Bulgarian Eurovision successes in the past two years. Their compositions are Beautiful Mess, performed by Christian Kostov, who won the second place in the 2017 edition of the contest, as well as “If Love Was a Crime” which placed Poly Genova on the fourth position in 2016. The first touch of the company with Eurovision was in 2011 when it created the song “Na Inat,” performed by Polly Genova. After that Symphonix won contracts in Macedonia, Serbia, and this year - in Austria.

The first rehearsal in Lisbon has already taken place and the Bulgarian musicians impressed the audience with their precise vocal performance. Immediately after the rehearsal the Bulgarian delegation held a press conference for foreign media. Zhana, Vladimir, Georgi, Johnny and Trey shared their impressions from the stage and told people about their performance and the message of the song. According to BTA, bookmakers have placed Bones among the top five Eurovision winners. According to forecasts, favorites in this year's Eurovision Song Contest are Israel, France, Australia, Norway, Bulgaria, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Spain and Italy.

On May 6, the opening ceremony of the 63rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place. Then the Bulgarian representatives will step on the red carpet in Lisbon, along with competitors from other 42 countries, which this year take part in the most prestigious music contest in Europe.

The audience and juries of 21 countries (Austria, Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, UK, Greece, Estonia, Israel, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland) will be able to vote for the Bulgarian song.
