Pieces worth millions of euro are on display at Klasika (Classics) Museum Gallery by the end of June. The masterpiece of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec Le chaton Minette alone is worth more than 300,000 euro, Dr Georgi Genov claims. He has paid loads of cash to buy the piece of post-impressionist Toulouse-Lautrec(1864-1901) from a private collection in Istanbul. Le chaton Minette created in 1895 was owned by the Bulgarian royal family but was sold by the heirs of King Boris III. More than 130 newly found works by old masters have been mounted at the gallery. The collection features paintings by many Bulgarian classics – Ivan Tabakov, Vasil Stoilov, Nikola Tanev, David Perets and many others. Among the highlights is the limited edition of lithographs by Pablo Picasso, works by Italian artist Leo Masinelli (1902-1983), etc. Almost all artworks can find their new owners at the auction at Klasika Gallery scheduled for Sunday, June 17.
