Two surfers have embarked on the challenge WIND2WIN to sail 300 km with windsurf along the waterway from the northernmost to the southernmost point of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast with the cause of a cleaner sea.

Multiple champions Iliyana Stoilova and Yoan Kolev have sailed from Dourankoulak and are expected to reach Rezovo on Wednesday night.

With their initiative the two hope to increase awareness of the issue of Black Sea plastic pollution. During the challenge, a special team of biologists will test the water and localize problem zones with plastic waste.
