Bulgaria ranks third by number of settlers in Germany

A report of the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) on in 2016 and 2017 shows that Romania is first in the chart of the top number of settlers with 432,852 people, followed by Poland with 316,275. Bulgaria is third with 158,761 settlers and Italy 4th with 128,968 people. A total of 210,000 people from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, settled in Germany. At the same time some 130,000 people from these three countries left Germany. In 2017 about 19.3 million citizens in Germany are of migrant origin, meaning that every fourth resident of the country from abroad or one of his parents is of foreign nationality.
