“We vehemently condemn and are extremely worried by the fresh escalation and the attack on the two ships in the Gulf of Oman,” said Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva.

At a meeting with her counterpart from the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Minister Zaharieva stated that the attack comes only one month after the attack on four other ships in the Gulf of Oman. A little later there was an attack on a pipeline in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“All this is building up tension in the region and this is extremely dangerous,” the Bulgarian diplomat said.
