Machine voting in Bulgaria dropped for local elections only

Machine voting will be dropped only for the local elections in Bulgaria, the legal committee at the National Assembly has decided. After the local elections on October 27th, in sections of more than 300 voters, machine voting will be only allowed for all other types of elections - presidential, European and parliamentary.

Necessary amendments to the Electoral Code are pending.
