More than fifty citizens of the city of Plovdiv joined with volunteer labor the works for the maintenance of the wonderful ancient mosaics in the Bishop’s Basilica archeological site. Under the guidance of archeologist Elena Kantareva, an overall of 2000 square meters of mosaics will be restored the future museum complex, whose opening is planned for September.  Photo: BTA


The first edition of SPICE Music Festival was great success – more than 8000 fans sang and danced in the course of two days at Port Burgas. They enjoyed the music of some of the great names of the 90s, like East 17, SNAP!, HADDAWAY, 2 Unlimited, Dr. Alban, REDNEX, No mercy, Cappella, La Bouche, 2 Brothers on the 4th floor, Ice MC, E-Rotic and the Bulgarian bands Upsurd and Deep Zone Project.
