Another Bulgarian town becomes jazz venue

The old town of Tryavna, famous with preserved cultural traditions dating back to the 17th century, is ready the first edition of its jazz festival. Singer Vasil Petrov is one of the initiators of the new festival and also the most popular participant this year. He is known as the "Bulgarian Sinatra" for his brilliant performance of songs from Frank Sinatra's repertoire. “I dared to think that a jazz festival would be a good link with the cultural traditions of the town,” Vasil Petrov says. At the festival he would present his new symphony jazz project with the participation of the Symphonietta Orchestra – Vratsa.
