Bulgaria’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva is paying a two-day official visit to Angola at the invitation of her counterpart Manuel Domingos Augusto. This is the first visit of Bulgarian minister to Luanda after 1989. The purpose of Minister Zaharieva’s visit to Angola is to restore and enhance political contacts between the two countries, encourage the business contacts and investments of Bulgarian companies in this country and resume the study of Angolan citizens in Bulgarian universities.
