Stefka Mineva - one of the Bulgarian voices who has left a bright mark in the opera theaters of La Scala, Metropolitan, Arena di Verona, will be honored on the stage of the Stara Zagora Opera on the occasion of her 50th anniversary on stage. Within the framework of the Opera and Ballet Festival, currently taking place in the city, Tsvetelina Vassileva, Maria Belcheva, Tatyana Shivarova, Sanya Anastasia, Kaludi Kaludov, Veselin Mihailov, Niko Isakov and Alexander Krunev will sing on November 30. Mezzo soprano Stefka Mineva started her career at the Stara Zagora Opera. Her parents were actually some of the founders of the opera in the city. Stefka Mineva later conquered the stages around the world. Currently, she is working again in her hometown opera as a vocal consultant. This year the Opera and Ballet Festival also celebrates its 50th anniversary by presenting a rich program of opera and ballet titles, premieres and anniversaries of memorable artists. The festival will close on December 7 with Falstaff by Verdi - a performance of the Plovdiv Opera with the participation of conductor Pavel Balev and world famous soloists Kiril Manolov and Mariana Pencheva.
