Donation Days in support of couples with fertility problems start today

The 7th edition of the Donation Days initiative begins today. The event has a charitable purpose - to help couples with fertility problems have children. The initiative brings together donors of reproductive material (eggs and sperm), recipients expecting a donor, mothers of children born after an IVF procedure, and reproductive health specialists. The goal is to promote donor activities, says Mariela Kurteva of the Mothers for Donation Foundation. Over the last five years, nearly 1,500 children have been born with the support of the Foundation, as each year the number of donors has grown by 20%, thanks to the hard work to promote the cause.
