The Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta, Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto, has arrived in Bulgaria on an official visit. After meeting with the guest, President Rumen Radev commented that it was an honor for him to accept the supreme leader of "one of the oldest Christian orders in one of the oldest Christian states" and defined the visit as an important step in the development of bilateral relations. The effort was found to be a continuation of the bilateral dialogue and fruitful cooperation has been successful in many areas. The President confirmed that the Maltese Order provided material and spiritual support to Bulgaria for many hospitals and institutions for the socially disadvantaged and disabled. In the presence of the President and the Grand Master, an illustrated postcard was validated on the occasion of the 25^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and the Maltese Order, which is celebrated this year.
