The Bulgarian head of state Rumen Radev has signed a decree on the dismissal of Sotir Tsatsarov as prosecutor general of the Republic of Bulgaria. On December 11, the parliament decided by 165 votes "in favor" that Sotir Tsatsarov should head the anti-corruption commission. Immediately after the election, he filed his resignation with the Judicial Council. Officially, his term in the prosecutor's office expires on January 10, 2020, but he vacates the position a month earlier.
