Foreign ministers from 35 countries, among them Bulgaria, expressed concern over the revival of anti-Semitism in many parts of the world, and, at a meeting in Brussels, adopted a declaration that they will combat all forms of racism and discrimination.

The Bulgarian delegation at the meeting of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva. The forum is hosted by Jean Asselborn, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg.

We must never forget that during World War II Bulgaria rescued more than 48,000 of its countrymen, Jews, from the death camps, Minister Zaharieva said.
