Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova said that regarding energy projects with Russia the Bulgarian government is the only competent institution. Thus, she responded to information about yesterday's telephone conversation between President Rumen Radev and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, during which joint energy projects were discussed. Petkova said she was surprised by the fact that Radev expressed hope that the two sides would reach mutually beneficial prices and conditions for the supply of Russian natural gas to Bulgaria. "The government has been in talks for gas with the Russian side since last year," the Energy Minister said.
