Long-time journalist Veneta Pavlova receives recognition from Bulgarian National Radio

On the occasion of the 84th anniversary of Radio Bulgaria, the long-time journalist and editor Veneta Pavlova received the award “Number 1 of Radio Bulgaria” for 2019. 
Veneta Pavlova is a well-known name for the audience of Radio Bulgaria with her numerous interviews and articles in the field of Bulgaria's cultural life and historical heritage. Having graduated the Moscow State University M. V. Lomonosov  in 1982, Veneta began her journalistic career in the Union of Bulgarian Journalists and "Narodna mladezh" newspaper, and in 1984 started working at the Bulgarian National Radio, in the foreign service directorate, in the department then called "Compatriots - radio hour". In 1985 she moved to the BNR's Hristo Botev channel, where she was involved in creating radio programmes for seafarers and Bulgarian specialists working abroad. 
In 1992, she returned to Radio Bulgaria as the author of interviews and articles related to Bulgarian literature, history and arts.
