The Holy Synod of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church (BOC) will not send representatives to the summit of autocephalous (self-governing) Orthodox churches to be held in Jordan's capital Amman. The Bulgarian Orthodox Church refrains from participating in the meeting. The council is convened by the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilus III, but the initiative is of the Moscow Patriarchate.
