An Israeli company has offered the Bulgarian government an online platform for processing massive data quantities. The software tracks the people infected with COVID-19, their contacts and checks whether they observe the quarantine. Data will be collected and analyzed and the development of the epidemic will be forecasted during a test period. The software analyses the groups that must be tested for coronavirus first. Meanwhile, Bulgaria will test similar technologies of two other companies as well. The authorities are yet to decide which platform tracking mobile data to choose. The State of Emergency Act obliged the mobile operators to provide traffic data about their clients. The services accessed them without a court decision.
