The information system for control of medical expertise will be presented today at the Bulgarian Ministry of Health. The system will be operational from October 15. It will serve the entire certification/re-certification process before the medical expertise authorities. All referrals for transfer of patients to labor expert medical commission will be introduced and managed via an electronic database. This would guarantee traceability and high level of control of the processes related to submission and processing of documents for certification or re-certification of the working capacity of citizens.
The system will maintain an electronic profile of all persons subject to medical expertise. Citizens will be able to obtain from the system referrals for labor expert medical commission issued by their general practitioners.
